Cookies PromptQ sets

PromptQ uses the following strictly necessary authentication cookies:

  • pkce_verifier and pkce_state protect the Auth0 sign-in flow. They are session cookies and are deleted after a successful authentication callback.
  • session maintains your authenticated PromptQ session. It is HTTP-only, uses the SameSite=Lax attribute, expires after no more than seven days, and is deleted when you sign out.

Cloudflare cookies

Cloudflare provides network security and Turnstile bot protection. It may set cf_clearance after a security verification. This cookie is strictly necessary for security and is not used by PromptQ for advertising or analytics.

For details about Cloudflare's processing, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Auth0 cookies

When you choose to sign in, you are redirected to Auth0. Auth0 may set cookies on its own domain to provide and secure the authentication process.

Theme preference

PromptQ stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser's localStorage. The theme preference is not a cookie. It remains in your browser until you clear site data or replace the saved preference.

No advertising or analytics cookies

PromptQ does not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies. We currently use only the authentication and security cookies described above. We will update this policy and provide any required choices before introducing optional cookies.

Global Privacy Control

We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Global Privacy Control signals therefore do not change how PromptQ uses cookies.
